IEDC is looking for a Summer Intern to join us, beginning in May! 

This position requires the ability to independently manage and track assigned projects, with regular reporting to IEDC’s Finance & Operations Manager. The primary responsibility will be to support the IEDC staff as needed. As part of the internship, you will also be required to sign a confidentiality agreement. 

This is a full-time internship, approximately 40 hours per week at a rate of $17 per hour. While work hours are flexible, availability on Fridays is required. The position will span 10 to 12 weeks, with an estimated timeframe from June 1st to August 16th, depending on individual school schedules.

Qualifications are as followed:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a higher education institution
• Professional attitude and demeanor
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Proficient grammar and spelling
• Ability to be flexible with work assignments and shifting priorities
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
