Ted Hubbes

Ted Hubbes is a native of Fergus Falls, MN, and attended college at UMD in Duluth, majoring in Geology. He moved to Grand Rapids in 2005 and currently lives in southeast Itasca County. Ted and his wife Jessica have four grown children and a newborn grandson. He has worked in the environmental engineering and consulting field since 1992, including 27 years at Braun Intertec, his current employer. Ted manages a small team of environmental scientists located throughout northern Minnesota.  He has had the opportunity to work with local and tribal governments, developers, contractors, financing agencies, mining industry clients, and many other interests. The projects Ted works on range widely and includes environmental site assessments, hazardous material assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and brownfield cleanup projects. He also assists communities with pursuing and managing grants for environmental cleanup work.
