Mike Ives has been involved in the Manufactured housing industry for over 40 years beginning as a Home retailer and land lease community owner. He expanded ownership and management responsibilities to seven communities with over 1800 home sites. He has been involved on the MN Manufactured Housing Association board sharing his leadership and knowledge to others in the industry.

He has expanded his business dealings to construction of over 15 hotels with partners throughout MN, Iowa and Michigan. These hotels include the AmericInn, Super 8, Country Inn and Amerihost franchises. His commitment to the tourism industry in our region has encouraged him to build another quality lodging facility to the Grand Rapids area opening May of 2008.

He is committed to volunteering back his talents and strengthening the Grand Rapids community. He has played an active role in many volunteer economic development positions with his current efforts in: Grand Rapids Area Chamber, Itasca Economic Development Corp, Airport Commission, MMHA, and the Grand Itasca Hospital.
